Many babies spit up. This should be distinguished from vomiting. Spitting up or regurgitation is when the liquid spills effortlessly out of the baby’s mouth when burping. Vomiting is a forceful evacuation of large quantities. If vomiting occurs, please notify us. Also let us know if there is excessive spitting up or your baby is uncomfortable during feeding, as these may be signs of gastroesophageal reflux.
