A physical exam is recommended yearly as long as insurance will cover same. A yearly physical exam is required for all children with chronic medical problems. Yearly exams may also be required by schools, camps, or sports programs. A booster dose of Adacel and the Gardasil and Menactra vaccines will be given to children ages 11 years and up. Hep B and Hep A immunizations will be given to older children who were not immunized before. Also, a catch-up dose of Prevnar 13 will be given to children ages 2-5 years if they did not receive it prior.
